Information for 2024 Fall Softball
Fall Groups & Divisions by Birth Year
- High School Division: 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
- Majors Division: 2012, 2013
- Minors Division: 2014, 2015
- Intermediate Minors Division: 2016, 2017 (waitlist status, age group to be opened contingent on the number of signups from other divisions & field space availability)
Spots for the fall are very limited and we will be at capacity. Returning DLL families will be prioritized but registration is open to non-DLL families as well.
Program Overview
- The fall program is designed to help girls who are committed to softball to improve their skills. Whether it's to compete and have success on their high school varsity teams or to improve their chances to play for a spot on spring tournament teams, our fall program offers an unique learning and development focused environment with lots of coaching and productive reps that girls can't get from games.
- The program will be primarily run by our volunteer non-parent coaches including our most experienced tournament team coaches. Almost all of our High School varsity players and Tournament Team players have consistently participated in the fall program every year.
- For middle school girls & families, you'll have a chance to meet local high school softball coaches and learn more about their schools and softball programs to help you in the high school selection process.
Program Structure & Expected Schedule & Locations
- 8th grade & High School ages will consist of a mix of practices and games. Practices and inter-group scrimmages will be Sundays only. Games against other travel teams in the local area may be on Friday evening or Saturday as well.
- Majors and Minors age group will be practice and scrimmages only. All activities will be on Sundays only, sometime between 10am to 4pm.
- Practice for all age groups also includes two indoor small group hitting, fielding, or pitching sessions at Pier 40 every week (likely Tues or Thurs nights).
- Fall program is scheduled to run from 9/15 to 11/10 and will be based out of fields in Lower East Side such as Coleman Field and Corlears Field
